The image bank of PVC applications aims at building a database which shows the use of PVC products in everyday life. This database is meant to be used primarily by VinylPlus and VinylFoundation for websites, and internal / external communications.

• Picture owners will be acknowledged everywhere and every time your images are used (i.e. “Photo: courtesy of ...”). 

​​

• PVC in its different applications and uses should be the main subject and photographed, as far as possible, in self-explaining pictures. In case of interesting aspects/stories related to a specific photo, they could be sent with a short note attached, to be utilised when relevant/feasible in the photo captions.

​

• Pictures must be realistic and transmit the added value of the material, contributing to its positioning as a material of choice in terms of performance and sustainability. They must communicate the added value of PVC products/applications for everyday life and their contribution to a sustainable future.

​

• Performance is often an added value for PVC products/applications, and it is important that they are presented in the most comprehensible and accurate way. Functionality also implies that the PVC value chain, with its products, is providing solutions fulfilling society’s needs.    

​

• The presence of people is preferred (whenever possible, but not mandatory), since it transmits the sense of functionality and value for the quality of life. In addition, pictures reflect warmth, friendliness, and proximity to civil society.

​

• Innovative PVC products/applications are preferred whenever available, to underline the fact that PVC is a material suitable for forward-looking, pioneering and aspirational solutions; and that the PVC value chain is constantly innovating, also in line with the circular economy concept. In this respect, pictures of applications containing-recyclate products/applications are very welcome.
